Custom software

Custom software development for operations that outgrew off-the-shelf tools

Start a project

Off-the-shelf software fits the average company. When your process is the reason customers choose you, the average is a liability: you end up bending the business around the tool, or paying for a plugin ecosystem that never quite closes the gap.

We build the system around the process instead. Typical engagements are customer portals, B2B ordering and quoting systems, operations back-offices, and SaaS products for companies whose core business is not software — but whose growth depends on it.

What you get

  • A discovery report with scoped backlog, architecture proposal and budget range
  • A production web application with role-based access, audit trail and reporting
  • Integrations with your existing ERP, CRM, payment provider or identity system
  • CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure as code and monitoring from the first sprint
  • Documentation and a hand-over session with your internal team
  • An optional support and evolution retainer after go-live

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Discovery (1–3 weeks)

Interviews, process mapping, data audit. Output: backlog, architecture, budget range.

  2. 02

    Foundation (sprints 1–2)

Repository, CI/CD, environments, authentication, the first thin end-to-end slice in staging.

  3. 03

    Delivery (sprints 3–n)

Two-week increments, demo every sprint, priorities re-ranked with you.

  4. 04

    Go-live and hand-over

Data migration, training, runbook, support window. Then a retainer or a clean exit.

Frequently asked questions

How much does custom software cost?
It depends on team size and duration. A focused internal tool is a few months of a small team; a customer-facing platform is longer. We publish typical ranges in our cost guide and give a written range after discovery.
Which technologies do you use?
Mostly TypeScript (Node.js, React, Next.js), PostgreSQL and cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or Cloudflare. We choose per project and document the reasoning, not by default.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything is delivered into repositories you control, with a licence that lets you take it anywhere.
Can you work with our in-house developers?
Yes. Mixed teams are common: we take architecture and delivery lead, your engineers keep domain ownership and take over at the end.
